How does Joseph's dream - of a sun, moon and stars - connect to Joshua? \n\n There's another moment involving Joseph and the sun and the moon and the stars. When else is there a moment in Tanach when it almost seems like the sun and the moon and the stars obey the word of man?
It happens only once in the Book of Joshua. In a battle, the army of heaven takes their orders from a person.
Isn't it interesting that Joshua comes from the tribe of Ephraim, from Joseph? Was that what Joseph was dreaming about? If so, it would seem that that moment begins to express the moral heroism, that somehow mimicked the acts of heroism of Joseph, but on the international stage.
