Aleph Beta is a Torah media organization that creates in-depth, beautifully animated educational videos and content for intellectually curious adults. We're known for our thoughtful approach to Jewish learning and our high-quality visual storytelling.

The Role

We're looking for a skilled freelance video editor and motion graphics artist to help us develop recorded podcast content into polished, visually engaging YouTube videos. We currently have approximately 10 hours of recorded material ready for editing, with new seasons of content continually in production. This is an ongoing project with consistent, long-term work for the right person.

What You'll Be Doing

• Editing raw podcast footage for YouTube — cleaning up the video, tightening pacing, and ensuring a polished final product
• Creating styled images of psukim (biblical verses) as they are read on screen
• Animating word-by-word underlining and highlighting of text in sync with the audio
• Following established visual templates and style guidelines to maintain brand consistency

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects
• Ability to read and understand Tanach in Hebrew — you don't need to be fluent in modern Hebrew, but you must be comfortable reading, understanding, and accurately working with biblical text
• Strong attention to detail, especially when syncing text animations to spoken audio
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to existing style guides
• Reliable communication and the ability to meet deadlines consistently

Nice to Have:

• Experience with educational or explainer-style video content
• Familiarity with biblical Hebrew and Jewish textual traditions
• Experience with text animation and kinetic typography
