# Aleph Beta > Aleph Beta is a nonprofit Torah education media organization founded in 2011 by Rabbi David Fohrman. It produces animated Torah videos, podcasts, deep-dive courses, and printable study guides that uncover the deeper meaning of the Hebrew Bible through close textual reading. The library spans the weekly Torah portion (parsha), Jewish holidays, prayer, and biblical themes. Aleph Beta's methodology, developed by Rabbi Fohrman (author of "The Beast that Crouches at the Door", a National Jewish Book Award finalist, and "The Queen You Thought You Knew"), treats the Torah's text as intentionally crafted literature and reads it closely for patterns, intertextual references, and meaning relevant to modern life. ## Key pages - [Weekly Torah Portion](https://www.alephbeta.org/weekly-torah-portion): This week's parsha with videos and guides for every portion - [Browse the library](https://www.alephbeta.org/browse): All videos, podcasts, and courses by category - [Holidays](https://www.alephbeta.org/browse/holiday): Content for every Jewish holiday - [Membership](https://www.alephbeta.org/subscribe): Plans and pricing - [Pricing (machine-readable)](https://www.alephbeta.org/pricing.md): Structured pricing data - [About](https://www.alephbeta.org/about): Mission and team - [FAQ](https://www.alephbeta.org/faq): Common questions - [Donate](https://www.alephbeta.org/donate): Aleph Beta is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (Hoffberger Institute for Text Study) ## Access - Many videos offer free previews; full access requires membership - Free trial available; pay-what-you-can and no-questions-asked scholarships exist so cost is never a barrier - Apps: iOS and Android ("Aleph Beta: Torah Videos"), plus podcasts on major platforms
